National Letter of Intent- Update

We have gotten several questions from our readers regarding the National Letter of Intent and NCAA Division III soccer programs.  Specifically, the questions were along the lines of whether the NCAA and the NLI program had been changed to include NCAA Division III programs.

The D3 Recruiting Hub reached out to the NLI office for the answer.  Their answer was no, there is still no National Letter of Intent for NCAA Division III programs.  However, more and more NCAA Division III programs are using “celebratory forms” to sign student-athletes.  However, these are non-binding documents.

To contact the NLI office, please go to their website at http://www.nationalletter.org/index.html. Or they can be reached by phone at (317) 223-0706 or regular mail at National Letter of Intent, PO Box 7132, Indianapolis, IN 46207-7132.
